Late in 1999, Superior Air Parts introduced the Millennium Certified Pre-Owned Engine Program. The Millennium Engine is an alternative to factory engines and is designed around the very successful Millennium cylinder and incorporates the many FAA-PMA approved parts which Superior has introduced over the years.

The Millennium Engine is assembled by quality independent engine overhaul shops and a carries a five-year Security Assurance Plan that is administrated by Superior. Leavens Aviation Inc. is one such independent overhaul shop.

Superior is working to establish a global network of Millennium Certified Preowned Engine Service and Installation Centers to support the program. These Service Centers will have the same customer values and service levels that are consistent with superior's philosophy.
