Let Leavens Aviation Inc. be the engine supplier for your Experimental Aircraft project. We have numerous cores in our inventory, which can be customized to suit your application.

All of our "homebuilt" engines are built the following way:

• Complete Power Section (ie:Bottom End)
  A power section built to the exact same dimensional tolerances as a factory-overhauled engine. Using all new main and rod bearings and rod bushings, reconditioned camshaft and lifter assemblies. All steel parts are Magnetic Particle Inspected and all aluminum parts are Liquid Penetrant Inspected.

• Cylinders of Your Choice:
  
  • First run steel cylinders rebuilt using new valve guides, new piston rings, new exhaust valves ,new piston pin plugs and valve retainers.
  • Re-barreled steel cylinder assemblies using new valve guides, new piston rings, new exhaust valves new piston pin plugs and valve retainers; or
  • NEW cylinder assemblies (your choice of Lycoming/Continental, Superior Millennium or Superior Sandcast).
• Accessories of Your Choice:

• Most engines are delivered with reconditioned Slick magnetos. Bendix or new magnetos are available
• Reconditioned carburetor or fuel-injection systems
• New lightweight Sky-Tec starters
• New lightweight 40 amp alternator kits.
• All engines come with new ignition harness and spark plugs.
• Airflow Performance fuel injection systems are available.

• All of our engines are thoroughly run-in and tested in our test cell assuring you that they meet all applicable standards

• Financing....$5,000.00 will secure your engine core. The balance can be divided into monthly installments so that when you need your engine it will be complete, paid for, and ready for installation

• Storage. All engines will be inhibited and stored in a dry, heated building until delivery.
